    Event description

    Workshop Description:

In this workshop, Rebecca Gonzalez-Bartoli will share her desire to work with visual collage, an artform she found highly expressive and playful. The workshop will incorporate mindfulness exercises.

Participants will collectively craft a single page during the workshop,  and take their journal home, allowing them to perpetuate their creative journey. Rebecca's  objective is to provide an enduring endeavor, one that can be pursued in the times to come.

    About the artist:

Rebecca is an intuitive and expressive artist in recovery from schizoaffective disorder. She weaves stories through her art, employing vibrant, eclectic colors and whimsical themes. Her creations radiate joy, often exploring the world through the perspectives of animals, people, and words. Art serves as a powerful healing instrument in her life, and her aspiration is to extend that message of healing to a wider audience. Since relocating to Columbus in 2016, she has actively shared her artwork by participating in numerous shows and exhibits, underscoring the vital role of community in the storytelling of art.
