We are not a product of who we once were, yet often times, that is how we feel. We feel stuck because we have not learned to shed the stories of limitation that have followed us generationally and culturally. Now more than ever, you know that your unresolved inner obstacles will lead to stress, anxiety and overwhelm.
During this in-person workshop, you will breakthrough the limiting stories that you tell yourself which keep you feel less than what you are. Through a highly intuitive and practical process of self-discovery, you will walk away feeling revitalised, recharged and confident to step into fully being you.

HOW IS THIS DONE?
Stories, limiting beliefs, fears and traumas are stored in the body. What is more important than trying to understand them, is to experience and feel them. In this process of acknowledging all the parts of you that are seldom visited, you start to cultivate a sense of deep acceptance of who you are and where you have come from.
The transformational journey we are about to embark on is individual and unique to each and every person. While laying down and using various breathing techniques, shamanic energy work and somatic inquiry, you are guided into an expanded state of consciousness where you are given permission to explore all that is longing to be revealed and healed.
Some people are more visual and receive very vivid visions, while others experience physical releases in their bodies, some might experience a rollercoaster of emotions and everything in between.
When we exit our expanded state of consciousness, we return our awareness to our normal waking state, and begin a process of integrating the new changes in perception into our lives through various exercises including journaling and group sharing.
ABOUT THE FACILITATOR:
Johnson Chong is the award-winning author of Sage Sapien: From Karma to Dharma. He is the founder of Sagehouse in Singapore, a studio for holistic movement and coaching, and a native New Yorker with has an international coaching practice where he helps conscious entrepreneurs breakthrough overwhelm. He has also spoken and led workshops at companies like Unilever, Facebook, Nike, UBS, UOB and various other organizations.
Johnson is known as a bridge between ancient wisdom and direct modern application. In his dynamic coaching style, he integrates the practical and most useful parts of yogic wisdom, meditation, somatic movement, energy medicine and shamanic journeying to help his clients breakthrough daily self-criticism and emotional overwhelm. The unique experiences that Johnson curates offer a profoundly healing self-discovery experience, followed by very practical and actionable steps to create the most powerful breakthroughs.
As a certified InnerGuidanceTM coach, and a certified Four Winds Energy Medicine Health Coach, in conjunction with his background as an advanced E-RYT 500 Hr Yoga Teacher Trainer, and PMA Pilates Teacher Trainer, he has an expansive knowledge on the inner workings of human psychology and how it gets trapped in the physical and mental bodies.

At We Heal, our mission is to empower people through the experiential practice of self-healing and integrative health. We run holistic healing events for you to immerse yourself, learn practical tools to take into your daily self-care to flourish and be supported in the long-term, and create unity with community - physically, mentally, emotionally, socially, spiritually and environmentally.
LOCATION & TRANSPORT:
- Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to prepare in the space, please DO NOT be late
- Event location is the beautiful space, the Collective Healing Centre, located above the Art on King & Modern Times bookshop - the front door is on Egan Street, turn into the street from King Street and you’ll find the door to the space only a few metres up on the left.
- Parking: There is plenty of 2 hour parking a few minutes walk around Northwood St, Roberts St, Federation Rd, Egan St and Mechanic St. All night parking 2 blocks away on Roberts St and surrounding streets near the Camperdown memorial rest park.
- Public Transport: Newtown train station is only 10min walk away, bus lines on King St.
PLEASE BRING:
- A journal and a pen
- Comfortable clothing (no belts or anything that will restrict blood flow to hips, i.e sweatpants/warm workout clothes are ideal) and a jacket as it may get a little cool, Yoga mats, blankets and pillows are provided

SAFETY:
- Event Cap: We have capped the event to 16 participants due to the nature of the workshop as well as COVID precautions. The room is spacious and can usually fit up to 45 participants comfortably. We still need your cooperation to make this a safe space for all.
