Rec Connect - Bike and Kayak

RSL Rec Connect – Meet, move and make for a more connected life!  

RSL Rec Connect helps veterans and their families connect through a diverse calendar of recreational events. RSL Rec Connect events are held throughout the year in various locations across Queensland. Veterans and current serving Defence members, and their partners and children are welcome.

Join us for a fun filled morning of bike riding and kayaking  

This morning adventure provides a great way to get active and meet other local Defence families. All attendees will have the opportunity to bike ride and kayak.   

Requirements   

• This activity is open to ADF Veterans, current serving Defence members, their partners and children (must be aged over 10 years old). 

What to bring 

• Wear activewear you do not mind getting wet and a change of clothes. 

• Closed in shoes required for bike riding.  

• Recommended to bring hat, sunscreen and water bottle 

• Bikes and helmets will be supplied however attendees are also welcome to BYO bike and/or helmet.  

Please note that prior to the event, you will be required to complete two waivers, an RSL QLD waiver and an activity provider waiver. All attendees will be unable to participate without completing the waivers.
