Bellingen Shire Council, in collaboration with the Academy of Social Science, proudly presents Reclaiming Solidarity: Voices for Unity — a (mini) Poetry Slam like no other, live at the iconic Bellingen Memorial Hall.

Witness raw creativity, as community performers battle it out on stage, sharing powerful, thought-provoking pieces that bring the theme to life. The audience will help decide who takes home the title of best Poetry Slam performer for the Reclaiming Solidarity: Voices for Unity (Mini) Poetry Slam

This year’s theme invites poets to explore what solidarity means in our world today — weaving together ideas of connection, cooperation, and shared purpose to face the challenges of an ever-changing world. Expect an evening of words that spark conversation, stir emotion, and inspire action.
