“This collection provides a unique and valuable insight into one of New Zealand’s most influential gospel thinkers and strategic leaders"
Book Launch - Dr John Hitchen - Reclaiming the Good News
Description
The evening is an opportunity to meet with, and participate in discussions with Dr John Hitchen. The topics covered will be from his latest book, "Reclaiming the Good News". He will be interviewed by current Laidlaw Principal Roshan Allpress and there will be responses from academics, including Dr Allen Yeh.
Reclaiming the Good News distills a lifetime of reflection on how to share the good news of Jesus in a culturally engaging way. Drawing inspiration from the Apostle Paul, John M. Hitchen provides guidance on how we might live out the gospel to have an impact in a variety of contexts. Hitchen then demonstrates how these principles can apply to specific situations, from politics and business to death and loss. Reclaiming the Good News is a must read for thoughtful believers who want to prepare themselves and others to fulfill the Great Commission.
