Reclaiming the Sacredness of Our Rage
Description
Saturday is now sold out. I have added an extra date on the Friday the 3rd of JULY.
Tickets here for Friday:
Come and tend to the fire within in this 3 hour introductory ritual experience for Women's authentic anger.
Let me tell you a secret, Anger is not what you think! In fact it can be pleasurable, nourishing, protective and life giving. It is not a behaviour. It is not toxic. From early on, as women, we have often been entrained to be "good girls," to please and to self-abandon.
Building inner intimacy with the life force of anger is vital in self-reclamation. In this workshop, I'll be guiding you back to the subtle embodied felt sense of sacred rage and how this can in fact feel nourishing, pleasurable, strong and protective.
We will be initially taking away the "stories," we have around anger, and re-defining it by being guided to start to develop an intimate relationship to anger.
This will be energising, but not cathartic, and also tapping into being able to cultivate the life force energy that comes from being in contact with your sacred flame within.
This workshop is for women who:
Have difficulty accessing their anger
Are prone to people-pleasing and have been impacted by "good girl," conditioning
Want to learn a Goddess spirituality embodiment of Fierce Love and Power
Want to learn how to use authentic anger as medicine.
Are experiencing symptoms that result from suppressed anger.
How we will spend the 3 hour workshop:
A ritualistic space will be opened, and we will start in circle.
An introduction on ways the culture has de-fanged and de-thorned women with "good girl," conditioning. How this has impacted our life force, creativity, our instincts, boundary making and more.
Introduction to a new way of relating to the energy of authentic anger/ sacred rage that's different to the current cultural narrative.
Guided embodiment practices to start to feel into this energy.
Guided dance journey
Exercises to support a new way of relating to anger.
Sharing circle about experience and some time for a Q & A.
What to bring:
Warm clothes that you feel comfortable to move in.
A water bottle
An item to add to the alter to acknowledge your inner flame ( you will take it home at the end).
A journal if you wish to note down anything that arises during the container.
Please note, this will not be a cathartic anger release workshop, but rather working with the subtle body relationship with this energy.
Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
