DIY Paracord Jig| PORT MACQUARIE

This event has passed Register

Event description

So, you have learnt how to make a Paracord survival bracelet and key ring - want to make more?

Another great activity for Dads and Lads or any father figure, uncle, friend, grandfather. Join Howie in the Shed and make your own jig from upcycled timber. Once again, Lads must be 10 or over and each team of 2 will work together to make the Jig learning some basic woodworking skills along the way.

All materials and equipment will be provided to make 1 jig. This class is limited to 10 Teams of 2.

Meet your Facilitator - Howard Trott

By day, Howard can be found tinkering around the Community College as part of the Maintenance Team. Several years ago, Howard discovered the relaxing pastime of Paracord weaving and would like to share his skills with the Community. If there is one thing Howie enjoys more than paracord weaving, it's woodwork and this class combines both!

As a nurse of 35 years in a previous life, and as a Father, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather, Howard understands the importance of Father and Son time and would like to encourage Dads, Uncles & Grandfathers to bring their boys over 10 along for a morning of fun and togetherness.

Registration is free but essential.
