Emerging Voices Choir - Reconciliation Day Popup Choir Performance

Register to be part of the Emerging Voices Choir 2024 for Reconciliation Day on 27n May 2024. We are looking for 100 Voices to sing 2 songs as part of the official programme.

DRAFT Performance and Programme Details (Final timings TBC)

• When: Monday 27 May 2024
• Where: Commonwealth Park, ACT (Near Stage 88)
• 8:30am - 9:30am - Optional Free BBQ Breakfast at BBQ area near the playground
• 9:30am - Meet and register at Making Peasce Tent (look for the banners and signs)
• 10:00am - Warmup and last practice
• 10:50am - Performance on Stage 88
• 11:30am - End of performance

Note: Each singer registered on the day will receive a numbered commemorative certificate for participation.

Uniform

• School uniform (if applicable) or dress in black (no logos or other colours).
• We also ask that long hair be pulled off your face such as in a ponytail, braids or plaits.
• Each singer will also wear a Desert Pea on their right side.

What to bring

• Water Bottle
• Snacks (you may not have time to buy something if you get hungry before the performance)
• Music in black folder
• Desert Pea (or you can come early and make one at the Making Peasce tent)

Permission to Publish Images and Audio of Individuals and their Work

I/we, the registered singer/s, grant permission to The OZY Youth Choir, Honouring Defence Service, Inc. and Making Peace (“The Associations”), their agents, servants, legal  representatives and assigns to use any still and/or moving image being video footage, photographs and/or frames and/or audio footage, including all other forms of Social Media depicting me and/or my/our children as named for any of the following uses:

Advertisements, Official Recordings, videos, marketing, leaflets, or any other use such as for training, educational or publicity purposes. These may be used in a range of promotional materials such as films, posters, publications, banners, brochures, presentations and websites, and/or print and electronic media. I also grant copyright to the above named organisations.

I/we understand the above consents will apply throughout the world and be for an indefinite period.

I/we confirm that I/we am/are competent and have legal authority to agree to this Consent on behalf of myself and/or our child/children in the talent release. I have read and fully understand the contents of this Consent to the use of the said documents.

I/we acknowledge that any of such still or moving images being video footage, photograph or other frames for audio footage taken at such function(s) by the Associations, its servants or agents may be used commercially in the promotion of the activities of the Associations.
