Join us for the Reconciliation Tasmania Annual General Meeting (AGM) — an opportunity for members and stakeholders to reflect on the year, celebrate achievements, and vote on upcoming changes.

We are honoured to welcome Professor Maggie Walter (PhD; FASSA) as our guest speaker. Professor Walter is a Palawa woman, a member of the Tasmanian Aboriginal Briggs family, and a Distinguished Professor of Sociology (Emerita) at the University of Tasmania. She is a founding member of the Australian Indigenous Data Sovereignty Collective (Maiam nayri Wingara) and an executive member of the Global Indigenous Data Alliance (GIDA). In 2021, she was appointed as a Commissioner with the Victorian Yoo-rrook Justice Commission, Australia’s first truth-telling commission examining systemic injustices experienced by First Peoples.
