    Event description

Celebrate Reconciliation Week by joining Dreamtime Connection’s Aaron Chatfield for a talk on indigenous plant use, looking at the edible and medicinal uses of native plants used by Aboriginal people for thousands of years. Many of these plants are still used today by First Nation’s people and used in commercial application.

There will also be a chance to look at and learn about traditional tools followed by some bushtucker snacks and native bush tea. All participants will take home a native plant seedling to add to their garden.

In keeping with this year’s Reconciliation Week theme, Be a Voice for Generations, this is an intergenerational workshop. Children under 14 to be accompanied by a participating adult.
