About Joelene...
I have two children and happily married, and working as a childcare Assistant Director full time.

My journey started back in 2020 when I attended a weaving workshop with Aunty Ellen Trevorrow back on country along the Coorong. Connecting to country and my ancestors, through weaving allows me to reflect on my own story and how I can teach the love of weaving through cultural connections.

Ngori means "Pelican" in the Ngarrindjeri Language. Pelican is my spirit animal i.e Totem hence the name Ngori's Collection.

Ngori's Collections products is a mixture of hand-woven necklaces and Earrings using a range of natural materials and resources. i.e. Hemp cord, 100% coloured cotton, coloured raffia sources from Australia, emu feathers and quandong seeds sources in South Australia.
