Green Living Centre & Regen Sydney ReConnect Session
Event description
Join us - Inner West Green Living Centre and Regen Sydney for this end of year opportunity to reconnect with other Inner West environmentally focussed community groups. This event will explore the regenerative potential of our neighbourhood, drawing on your expertise and ideas.
We’ll discuss the need for systemic approaches to tackle both local and global challenges, using Doughnut Economics to guide our conversation. This framework helps us consider both social and ecological wellbeing in an integrated way. There is a need for systemic approaches to the opportunities we have in our community and more broadly to address the climate crisis. This session will look at ways to break down siloes, bridge divides, identify action gaps and model the type of economy, culture, and decision-making that we collectively would like to see. Many of the solutions we need are already within our community, and this session is a chance to bring those ideas together, creating a shared vision for change.
Healthy light snacks and drinks will be provided.
