Movement to Keep you Functional in Practice
This webinar is for all practitioners. As you are all well aware, clinical practice involves many aspects and layers. How do you manage your clinical load and keep yourself functional?
We are the helpers and many ignore or deny themselves of the self care they share with others… too busy helping everyone else! We are healers and helpers, not superhuman. We need care too, and, this webinar provides the tools and the inspiration to MAKE time for yourself.
What does functional actually mean?
What can you do (or not do!) to maintain physical and mental function?
We will go through the following:
- Prep and release for bodywork practitioners (equally useful for the ‘desk jockeys’.)
- Awareness and release from ‘Office’ based component of clinical work.
- A quick and effective ‘anti-gravity’ (anti-aging) physical activation.
- A simply delightful ‘de-stress’ tool that you can use not only in clinic but out in the world too.
Donna will be sharing some Medicinal Life Practices from her Life Medicine program and will give you an edited summary video after the webinar.
You will have in your toolbox:
- Mobility Prep and neural release drills.
- Full body activation exercise which counteracts our ‘seated’ lives.
- A two part Sympathetic Nervous System down-regulator to use in moments of stress and overwhelm/overload.
As Donna says ‘come play!’
