Optimising Nutrition for Chronic Fatigue

Chronic fatigue syndrome is a debilitating, persistent fatigue condition that impacts both physical and mental wellbeing. Chronic fatigue syndrome is complex affecting multiple body systems, leading to a range of symptoms such as fatigue, exhaustion, muscle pain, joint pain, anxiety, depression, stress, headaches, cognitive dysfunction, digestive issues, and inflammation, among others. Chronic fatigue syndrome can affect any age group and is fundamentally characterised by profound intense fatigue of unknown origin or cause.

Optimum nutrition is the foundation for optimum health. Essential nutrients such as vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and probiotics offer a wide range of health benefits, including supporting energy metabolism, reducing inflammation, promoting muscle and nerve function, regulating immune system function, improving cardiometabolic health, supporting digestion, and having antioxidant effects.

This webinar highlights the essential aspects of chronic fatigue syndrome, shedding light on its overview and characteristics. It delves into the potential causes and risk factors associated with chronic fatigue syndrome, providing valuable insights for better understanding. Moreover, the webinar emphasises the clinical considerations and the role of nutritional medicine in prescribing effective treatments for managing chronic fatigue syndrome. By exploring these key features, participants can gain a comprehensive understanding of this complex syndrome and its management strategies.
