Connection is essential. Whether its peer led or found via other professional supports, through community, relationships or spiritually, connection helps individuals build trust, rediscover identity, and create a sense of belonging and worth beyond the eating disorder.

This month's event will centre on Connection and relationships, and will explore the vital role connection and relationships play in eating disorder recovery and healing. Using intentional storytelling, our lived experience ambassador will reflect on how isolation, shame and disconnection can fuel eating disorders and how building safe, supportive relationships can foster lasting change.

This event will feature guided discussion and reflection questions. You will not be expected to share your answers to the questions.

Who can join this event?

Participants need to be 18 years of age or over and acknowledge the engagement agreement when registering. Registrations close 4 hours prior to the event.
