Event description

Re-create your Favourite Outfit from Scratch!

Hosted over 3 consecutive Tuesday nights :

November 26th, December 3rd, December 10  -  6pm-8.30 pm

This workshop series will teach you pattern drafting and sewing skills.

Objective:
Learn how to create basic clothing patterns by drafting from your favourite existing stretch garments without taking them apart. Specifically leggings, bike shorts, hot pants, underwear, crop top or jumper. You will then learn how to sew your garment using a sewing machine or overlocker.

You will come away from this workshop series with 1-2 new patterns and 1-2 new garments drafted and made by you from scratch! You will also cultivate a new understanding of patternmaking, how garments go together, garment construction, and basic stretch sewing.

This class is suitable for beginners to intermediate crafters.

Hosted at the Sunroom @ NECCHI - East Coburg Neighbourhood House, 32 Nicholson St, Coburg VIC

Fees: $290 full $220 concession - Please reach out if you need help with a payment plan :)

All materials provided for pattern drafting, please BYO: One to two stretch garments to take a pattern from, fabric for making your garment, and your own sewing machine or overlocker if you have one. Please get in contact if this is not possible.
