Every year the Nature-Based Outdoor Network of South Australia (NBONSA) holds a relevant and topical forum to coincide with its AGM.

Starting at 3pm, we invite you to join us for a short AGM to find out more about the work of NBONSA over the past year and future plans.

Starting at 3.45pm, NBONSA invites you to participate in a forum on Recreational Access and Participation in SA's Nature-Based Public Spaces.

This forum will focus on developing stronger relationships and collaboration between land managers and nature-based outdoor activity groups to improve access and participation in public spaces.

The discussion will cover key issues such as the value and importance of structured and unstructured nature-base outdoor activities and the quality and accessibility of SA’s public open spaces.

Who should attend:

  • Land managers (e.g. Parks SA, Forestry SA, Water SA)
  • Representatives from councils, health organisations, & recreation organisations
  • Nature-based outdoor activity groups and community members interested in access to public spaces

Proposed Schedule:

  • Welcome & acknowledgement of Country
  • AGM (30 mins)
  • Break (10 mins)
  • Welcome and Overview (5 mins)
  • Presentations from Land Managers (45 mins)
  • Panel Responses from User Groups (30 min)
  • Break (10 mins)
  • Small Group Discussions (15 min)
  • Key Points Feedback & Wrap-Up (15 min)

This event is free, but spaces are limited to 50 participants. Please register to secure your spot.
