    Event description

Join Yumemi to learn ways to turn your fabric scraps into your very own unique accessories. In this workshop, you will be turning recycled Kimono off cuts into beautiful wearable pieces which you can take home at the end of the day. All materials and equipment will be provided but feel free to bring your own beads, threads and other pretty things to use.

Yumemi Hiraki is an Australian-based contemporary artist from Hiroshima, Japan.  After completing her BFA at the Victorian College of the Arts, specialising in Sculpture and Spatial Practice, she has been active as both artist and arts worker within Melbourne and Hobart.
