Event description

Relax and unwind while learning how to make an upcycled fabric basket from unwanted textiles. Every year 92 million tonnes of textiles waste is produced, with the majority going to landfill. In this hands-on workshop you will learn how to create and hand-sew a unique braided fabric basket with the feel-good bonus of diverting materials from landfill.

No charge, just bring along your own unwanted clothing and other textiles to use in the workshop, some will be available on hand. All other equipment will be supplied.
