Recycled mosaic mural making session at Campbelltown Library
Event description
Join us on Wednesday 11 October at 10am for a Recycled Mosaic Making Session at Campbelltown library. Learn about how you can use ārubbishā in different ways and save it from ending up in landfill and have a great time with your family and friends getting creative and making a beautiful artwork. Feel free to bring your own rubbish (as long as it is clean). Suggested items include CDs, straws, lids, textiles (clothing, fabric), blister packs (from tablets), toothpaste tubes, laminated paper, corflute, cd cases, bk spirals, contacted book covers, stickers, plastic book covers, soft plastic, material bags.
The event will be led by mentor students of the Youth Environment Council of SA, with support from Green Adelaide education officers. As the event is run by young people, we encourage young people to be the main participants. The recommended age group is primary and secondary students.
Numbers will be limited, so get in quick to avoid missing out! All attendees must be registered to take part and will receive further information before the event. An adult must accompany all young people for duty of care.
We hope to see you there!
