Red Cross BLS CPR Challenge for ESR Patrollers-PM

For Eastern Sierra Region Ski Patrollers ONLY
This is a Red Cross BLS CPR Challenge session for experienced patrollers who are familiar with BLS CPR ECC2020 standard.
There is no discussions or lectures at this session. You will come to the session prepared and perform required skills in a team of two or three in scenarios presented to you.
You are required to lead one scenario and participate in one or two additional scenarios to demonstrate all skills.
Skills include one and two person CPR on adult and infant; the use of pocket mask and BVM; foreign object obstruction rescue; use of AED on adult and infant; rescue breathing on adult and infant using a pocket mask and BMV; and a knowledge check on 25 question test which you must answer correctly 84% (21 correct answers)
If your current CPR certificate expires prior to the end of the 25-26 season (May 2026), the cost is $35.00 paid to ESR plus a small fee charged by Humanitix.
If your current CPR certificate is valid until after the end of the 25-26 and are doing an annual skill/knowledge refresh, there is no charge. Be sure to bring your OEC card and/or CPR skills/knowledge sign-off form from your patrol for the instructor to sign-off.
Everyone must bring their own CPR Pocket Mask.
Please check your calendar carefully. Canceling your sign-up may cause the class to cancel due to required minimum participants - need a minimum of 2 per session to perform two person CPR skills.
