Red Dirt Poetry 2026 Workshops - Experimental

Join Red Dirt Poetry Festival Artistic Director, Laurie May, for the experimental stream is a three-week process that starts with concept development and an exploration of the individual process you the poet wish to undertake whether performance or installation you'll be guided through this creative experimentation process. We begin with concept and poem development, moving into output and presentation strategy. This workshop is for poets who have been writing for a while (in your room alone also counts as long as you have some foundational basics) and want to take it off the page into new spaces.
