Red Dirt Robotics - Intro to Micromelon

Join Red Dirt Robotics for our first ever Micromelon session!

Over the course of the fun-packed workshop, Jameson and the Micromelon Crew will guide you through everything you need to know to get started with the Micromelon Rover. Together, we will learn our way around the Code Editor and the Rover to complete a number of RoboRAVE inspired challenges! From line following to sumobot, you will walk away from this course knowing how to do it all!

What to Expect:

1. Those participating in our workshop will be taught beginner skills as an introduction to the Micromelon ecosystem. No prior experience in robotics is required, all skill levels are welcome!

2. We will learn how to problem solve and work with each other to achieve the best outcome for you and your group.

3. Together, we will learn, have fun, make friends, and have a good time!

For this course, we request that each student provides their own device (laptop) with the necessary software downloaded PRIOR to the workshop. If this request is not possible, there will be a limited supply of sparer laptops The Micromelon Code editor can be downloaded here.
