This Contract: The Measuring of Ambitions

In the mountains North of Pliedius, another dark tower of black stone and purple light has apparated upon the slopes. From it, undead are descending into the townships below spreading wanton destruction, and the dark intentions of their master. Contract or no, this is too dire a threat to leave unattended.

Join fellow adventurers for an evening of Dungeons & Dragons — a tabletop game of storytelling, teamwork, and dice-fueled chaos.

What is a Red Lion Contract?

A Red Lion Contract is a self-contained, professionally facilitated Dungeons & Dragons adventure designed to be completed in a single session by a party of level 3 characters,
Players take on a specific job, threat, or mystery and see it through from briefing to resolution in one night.

Contracts are ideal for players who:

Want a complete story in one sitting
Have an existing character they enjoy
Want to experience guided play without a long-term commitment

Whether you’re a first-timer or a returning hero, this is your chance to:

⚔️ Embark on an original Red Lion adventure
🎭 Experiment with a new character, and explore a unique fantasy setting
🍻 Enjoy a relaxed, social, and imaginative evening

Tickets Essential! You'll receive information about what to expect, and any updates about the night.

When? Friday September 18th, 6-9:30 PM.

Where? Joe's Games and Gulsch, Nott Street, Melrose SA.

Cost? $20 per player

What Do I Need to Bring?

Just yourself, your imagination, and a readiness to cooperate with others to solve puzzles and respond to challenges! Pre-made characters, stationery, dice, and other materials are all provided by the Red Lion Adventuring Company.

Can I bring my own character?
- You are welcome to bring your own Level 3 character, assuming it has been generated using the guidelines provided for 5th Edition (revised 2024). If you would like to learn to make your own character, sign up for one of our Make a Hero sessions!
Can I bring food or drink?
- Joe's Games and Gulsch provides a hand-picked selection of snacks (Gulsch) and drinks to purchase on site. Please do not bring food and drink purchased from outside the venue.

New to D&D?

That's totally fine! You are more than welcome to attend this easy game, and we'll show you the ropes.

If you’re completely new to the game or unsure whether this style of play is right for you, you’re very welcome to attend one of our Beginner’s Nights first.
