Red Tent Aotearoa Auckland Launch- EVENT ON HOLD
Event description
EVENT ON HOLD
Kia ora dear Woman.
You are invited to assist as we birth the Auckland branch of Red Tent Aotearoa.
Come and find out the herstory of the Red Tent movement.
Tell us what you're looking for in your monthly women's support circle.
Be a part of the creation of a movement that has already changed thousands of women's lives all over the world.
Find Your Wolf Pack; a group of women who have your back and want to support you to become the best version of yourself.
Together we rise stronger!
- Do day-to-day surface-level conversations leave you feeling empty and unfulfilled?
- Are you ready to speak authentically, leaving the mask of judgment (of yourself and others) at the door?
- Do you yearn to be deeply listened to?
- Are you tired of being the person who props others up emotionally, always having to be ‘on’, leaving no room for you to be truly heard?
- Is it time to let go of that little voice of self-doubt and step into a space of confidence?
- Are you craving to be held and nurtured where you are right now?
A Red Tent is a place to Be.
Just Be.
Without anyone giving you advice.
Without anyone asking anything of you.
Without anyone judging, criticizing, or saying you need to look, feel, or behave in a certain way.
There has never been a more important time for women to gather in the Red Tent.
If we want to see real positive change, we need to speak up, find our courage and confidence to allow ourselves to claim our space.
In order for there to be a shift in consciousness, we have to understand on a deeper experiential level that there is no separation between you and me, and all other women. Competition and comparison are dead, collaboration is the only way forward.
The old way of Women hurting and relating to each other in detrimental ways needs to end.
To do this, it is essential that we have time to restore, rebuild, and reclaim our wisdom, and see ourselves in every woman.
This all happens in the Red Tent.
Remembering that we are the ones who have to initiate this change in our own lives because no one else is going to do it for us. We are like tuning forks for the deep truth of nature and our individual beings.
Reclaiming our natural rhythm by stopping, in order to develop a deeper consciousness.
We need this more than anything we could possibly imagine, and we need each other more than anything we could possibly imagine.
It’s time to stop comparing ourselves to each other and holding each other at arm’s length for fear of getting rejected or hurt.
It’s time to bring back that deep communion (community!) that is needed for us to seed sow and grow the seeds of trust.
If this has sparked something in you, then you are invited to join us in the space that will be created just for you on Sunday 12th September 3 pm - 6 pm

About your Red Tent hostess: - Jill Genet
Jill is a vibrant, highly skilled facilitator. She is a colourful change-maker and visionary, with a strong passion for connecting women to make their dreams come true.
She has the life path of the Spiritual Messenger and has taken on the role of Gathering the Tribe.
With over 20 years of experience in running women’s circles and qualifications in Business and Project management, Counselling, Meditation, Compassionate Communication, Red Tent Facilitation & Yoga Teaching, her goal is to educate, awaken and enlighten women to their power, strength, and natural gifts.
Her mission is to support people in running their own businesses and doing what their hearts call them to do!
Holding Red Tent Circles provides women with a circle of support around them that creates community and changes everything. In today’s society today, there is no formal acknowledgment or recognition of the Feminine Divinity. It is still thought to be an “underground” or “alternative” movement, somewhat threatening to the mainstream.
Jill wants to break down the falsehoods & illusions that are too often found in our culture and bring healing into the light. One of the ways that she manifests this is by training women in Public Speaking to grow in confidence and courage, to experience the ripple effect on their families and humanity at large.
She has trained women from all walks of life and age groups to lead Red Tents under the banner of Red Tent Australia, a Non-Profit Community Enterprise Movement that she began in 2013.
She has now returned home to Aotearoa and started a business mentoring company- Conscious Consulting NZ and holds monthly Red Tent Circles for women, Courageous Conversations for all humans, and the Conscious Creators business networking events for business owners who are making a difference with intention.
She is also available for one-on-one consultations. Jill wants everyone to know that belonging to a community should not be about conforming or giving away your power. It should be about becoming a purposeful being who is able to encourage and nurture others while receiving support and compassion yourself.
Jill believes that competition is obsolete and the only way forward is collaboration. Red Tent Australia was built on the model of Sacred Commerce, where your success is measured by the number of others you help to succeed measures your success.
Asking for help and being open to receiving it are the biggest lessons Jill hopes to impart on women, along with the fundamental deep knowing that you are never alone!
She thinks that by remembering and harnessing our ancestral wisdom and, re-introducing the old ways of nature is the only way forward. Along with removing the self-imposed “masks” that are firmly in place in society, we can all start to work towards healing the Earth via healing ourselves.
What women want is CONNECTION. Not on a superficial level, but REAL connection and support.
The Red Tent is a place for women to feel and experience that connection, and to offer and receive that support.
We want to help women to free themselves from the isolation of today’s modern world and find their tribe. Red Tent Aotearoa has the aim to connect, collaborate, and create a community of strong and educated women in a supportive & nurturing environment.
We establish community networks and support between women by hosting local gatherings, and events in what we call “Red Tents”.
Red Tent Aotearoa is not religious, and we include anyone who identifies as female from 11 years from all walks of life. It’s our hope for everyone who enters each Red Tent experiences a sense of belonging, sisterhood, and strength that stays with them from then on.
If you can commit to arriving at 2 pm and staying to help clean up please email Jill: redtentaotearoa@gmail.com
**If you are able to sponsor a future Red Tent Aotearoa circle we would be extremely grateful!**
Sponsorship involves covering our costs in return for us showing support for your business or cause, hence creating a network of trusted service providers and products.
