Redcliffe Community Christmas Lunch

Did you miss out on booking a seat to the Redcliffe Community Christmas Lunch?If you did, and you're in need of support or a meal this Christmas we're aware that The Breakfast Club Redcliffe Inc and Redcliffe Salvation Army have Christmas Hampers accessible to those in need.

Christmas is a much-loved tradition spent with our closest family and friends exchanging presents enjoying Christmas lunch. These are simple pleasures that we often take for granted.  However, for many people living in our community, Christmas is just another day. 

Christmas should be a time of joy and hope, but unexpected circumstances or a crisis can make it stressful and challenging. If you are looking for some connection on Christmas Day, we are here for you.

If you are feeling lonely and have no one to share Christmas with, or are unable to prepare your own Christmas meal, you are invited.

Members of our local community, the Redcliffe Uniting Church, MBRIT along with many community Sponsors are delighted to invite you to the Redcliffe Community Christmas Lunch. 

Lunch will be held at the Redcliffe Uniting Church, 1 Richens Street, Redcliffe at no cost to you. Together we will celebrate Christmas with decorations, music, a delicious meal and great conversation.

We'd appreciate you sharing some details about yourself (and/or family members), to help us coordinate a wonderful Queensland Christmas Day.

Q. Can I bring my family or friends with me?

Yes. The more the merrier!

Q. Is this event suitable for children?

Yes. This event is suitable for children and we will age appropriate activities for children to be involved with. Please provide information about age and gender of children attending when you book.

Q. Is alcohol served at this event - or can I bring alcohol with me? 

No. The Redcliffe Community Christmas Lunch is an alcohol free event.

Q. Can I bring my pet?

No. Please leave your pets at home. Service animals are always welcome.

Q. Is Redcliffe Uniting Church an accessible venue?

Yes. Redcliffe Uniting Church is wheelchair friendly and accessible. However, there are limited designated Wheelchair carparks available in the Redcliffe Uniting Community Hub carpark and along Richens Street, Redcliffe. 

Q. Can I Sponsor this event?

Q. Can I donate food to this event?

We have now closed food and event related donations for this event. If you wish to make a financial donation, you can do so when you book for your lunch, or by direct donation through the Redcliffe Uniting Church. Use "Christmas Lunch" as your reference, donations can be made here.

Q. Can I donate Christmas gifts to this event? 

No. If you have any used items suitable for donation, we suggest you donate them to one our local community groups, that have facilities to distribute items who are looking for these types of items. Suggestions: My Preloved Wardrobe - clothing items for children and adults (Clontarf). If you have brand new gifts to donate, the Redcliffe CARE Network is currently seeking gifts for their Christmas Hamper packing. Please visit their Facebook page for more details.
