    About Red Door:

In Red Door, Eisha Mason invites you into sacred realms. The poems in her debut collection reveal her inner process of liberation, transporting you to a place where the soul heals back to life. She explores how to stay true to her spiritual path in the face of systemic violence, discovering how community can triumph over pain and create beauty and justice. Her words connect us to that which lies beyond the Red Door, reuniting us with to Life's boundless Love.

    Praise for Red Door:

“I got lost today. I got lost as I began to read Red Door by Eisha Mason. I didn’t intend to get lost—I intended to read a book of poetry by my friend and feel what she had to say. But I got lost. I got lost in the depth of poignancy, wonder, awe, love, expanded consciousness, surprise, honesty—and more than words can convey right now.

Red Door took me there. This book is more than a book of poetry—it is an expression of Soul that will move you into places in your own being. Just as Eisha has lifted the veil so that you may see her heart and soul and the profundity of how she sees and experiences life, you will be touched and moved to perhaps get lost in an eddy of inspiration, or a sea of self-reflection, or an ocean of hope, or even waves of sadness.

In other words, this book will move you in some way and you will experience a shift that will be good for your spirit. I invite you to get lost today and, in getting lost, you may find parts of yourself—and you’ll be glad you did. Walk through the Red Door.”

“More than a book, Eisha has created a sacred realm, one in which justice and joy mingle with the spiritual entity of storytelling, the poignant power of the personal, and the poetic forces of peace. It is an exquisite reclamation of self, and a profound proclamation of oneness with nature in all of its divinity. Inhale, enter, dwell, dive deep into the magic of these words within, and open your heart to the blessings they bring.”

    About Eisha A. Mason:

Eisha Mason is a Baltimore-born, Los Angeles-based writer. A poet, activist and spiritual therapist, her writing is informed by her many years as a Master Practitioner and Instructor at Agape International Spiritual Center, as a student and practitioner of nonviolence with Reverend James Lawson and as an activist engaged in social justice and peacemaking.

Eisha’s writing explores the relationships between personal and communal, spiritual and political evolution. In the face of our world’s many injustices and traumas, she inquires, “How do we heal? How do we love? How do we transform suffering, advance justice and create beauty in our lives and communities?”

Eisha Mason is the founder of The Soul Work for Social Change as well as The Community Healing Forum. Through her life’s work and her words, Eisha encourages both herself and others to persist through what we think is impossible to overcome. She implores us to choose bravery over compliance, discomfort over complacency. We can expand beyond the boxes we live in and choose freedom.

In her leisure time, Eisha enjoys being in nature, traveling, catching live music and spoken word, dancing, reading books, and enjoying great meals and movies with friends.
