Redfern Jarjum College presents "Our Mob"
Event description
After the success of our event in 2022, we are thrilled to be hosting our second gala charity night- "Our Mob". In 2022 we welcomed you as "Gamarada", a Gadigal word meaning "friends". In 2024 we invite you to become part of "Our Mob". Part of our group, our people, our family. This word embodies everything we stand for at Redfern Jarjum College.
We would love to welcome friends and supporters of the college to celebrate with us. On the night we will showcase the incredible success of the College, celebrate our generous community partners, and recognise the many people who have contributed to Jarjum over the years.
Returning to the beautiful Parkside Ballroom at ICC Sydney, you will enjoy a bespoke 3 course menu featuring native ingredients. We are very excited to have Australian actor, Wiradjuri and Ngunnawa man, Luke Carroll, hosting the night. You will be entertained by local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander singing and dancing groups. Our keynote speaker will give you an insight into the lives of our local First Nations people, and their experiences with Jarjum College.
You will have an opportunity to make a difference to the lives of our students and families as we host a silent, and live auction.
You will leave feeling energised, educated and empowered.
