A Monster Calls, The Play follows the story of 13-year-old Conor O'Malley. Conor has the same dream every night, ever since his mother first fell ill, ever since she started the treatments that don't quite seem to be working. One night, at seven minutes past twelve, a monster paid him a visit.

Our Year 10 to Year 12 redfoot ensemble proudly bring to life this beautiful and stunning story of love, loss, and courage anew. 

Based on the novel by Patrick Ness and inspired by an original idea by Siobhan Dowd, devised by Sally Cookson and Adam Peck and the company. 

This play will be presented with seating on the stage level, audiences are encouraged to join us in this immersion and book accordingly. Please note the use of haze throughout the show and some flashing lights.

Suitable for Mature Young Audiences 12+ Please be advised that as this is an adaptation of a Young Adult Novel, we recommend audiences of 12+. The show can be very dark in places - there are fight scenes, bullying represented, and themes of illness and grief.
