Are you looking for your next employee or apprentice?

Redlands Jobs Connect – Automotive connects local automotive employers with apprenticeship-ready candidates, recent school leavers and motivated job seekers interested in building a career in the industry.

The event offers employers an efficient and informal way to meet local candidates face to face, discuss current and future workforce requirements and start building a recruitment pipeline for 2027.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Following a brief employer welcome, participating employers will meet small groups of candidates in an informal, facilitated networking format.

Employers will be encouraged to:

Introduce their business
Explain current and future workforce needs
Discuss apprenticeship, employment and work-experience pathways
Answer candidate questions
Gather candidates' resumes/profiles
Identify suitable candidates for follow-up
Advise the RJC of interviews, work trials, placements, employment or apprenticeship outcomes arising from the event.
Connect with other local automotive employers and industry representatives from MTA Queensland for a drinks and nibbles session at the end.
