Reduce delays. Improve drawings. Get more from your CAD workflows.

Delays in sheet metal fabrication often begin well before production starts. Unclear drawings, incorrect flat patterns, design revisions and inefficient CAD workflows can all slow down quoting, manufacturing and delivery.

This practical webinar explores how SOLIDWORKS and DraftSight can help Australian sheet metal fabrication businesses create manufacture-ready models, improve communication between design and production, and reduce repeated work.

Whether you're already using CAD or looking to improve your current process, you'll gain practical ideas that can be applied immediately.

What we'll cover

Common causes of delays in sheet metal fabrication workflows
Using SOLIDWORKS sheet metal tools to create manufacture-ready models
Flat pattern accuracy and DXF export best practices
Custom properties, cut lists and drawing automation
Using DraftSight for professional 2D drafting and DWG workflows
Improving communication between design and manufacturing
Parametric modelling and configurations to reduce repeated work
Real examples of how better CAD workflows can save time

Who should attend?

Sheet metal fabrication business owners and managers
Production managers and workshop supervisors
Mechanical designers and drafters
Engineers involved in design-to-manufacturing handover
Anyone responsible for quoting, CNC programming or fabrication drawings
