Located on Crown Street in Surry Hills, Refettorio OzHarvest Sydney is an Australian-first, social impact collaboration between OzHarvest and world renowned chef, Massimo Bottura and his not-for-profit organisation, Food for Soul.
Born out of a shared vision to nurture the well-being of people and the health of the planet, founders Ronni Kahn AO and Massimo Bottura have created a community hub welcoming those in need, to feel at home and enjoy a nourishing meal.

The Refettorio model is designed to meet the needs of those experiencing food insecurity and provide a positive experience for guests. Based on our zero-waste philosophy, rescued ingredients are transformed by OzHarvest chefs into gourmet vegetarian meals with the menu changing weekly.

Our team works with the local community and OzHarvest’s network of charities to ensure those experiencing food insecurity can access a delicious free meal during the week.
There are opportunities for everyone to experience the Refettorio OzHarvest Sydney through 'Pay It Forward' Dinners and private events.
