Refettorio OzHarvest x Mud Australia Dinner | Wednesday 3rd September, 2025
Event description
An Evening of Purpose & Beauty: Refettorio OzHarvest x Mud Australia Dinner
Mud Australia and Refettorio OzHarvest are coming together to create a one-night-only dining experience.
Join us in celebrating Mud Australia and OzHarvest’s relationship. Meet Mud Australia’s Founder Shelley Simpson and experience a four-course meal served on Mud Australia’s porcelain. This event will celebrate the shared mission of reuse in both food and craft, with all proceeds supporting OzHarvest’s vital work.
A Collaboration with Purpose
Since opening its doors in 2022, Refettorio OzHarvest Sydney has been supported by Mud Australia, who have provided their handcrafted pieces to enhance every meal served at Refettorio OzHarvest. Now, we invite you to experience this collaboration firsthand - an evening designed to honour both organisations’ dedication to community and craft.
Four-Course Culinary Journey
Our Refettorio chefs will transform OzHarvest’s rescued ingredients into an exclusive set menu that celebrates the beauty of sustainable cooking. Each course is thoughtfully designed to complement and showcase Mud Australia’s handcrafted porcelain pieces.
Meet the Makers
Meet founder and creative director Shelley Simpson, along with the team behind Mud Australia, to hear the stories behind their designs and 30 year long journey. Discover their sustainable practices and ongoing commitment to supporting community initiatives like Refettorio OzHarvest.
Visit the Mud Australia Store
Just a few doors down, the Mud Australia Surry Hills store will be open prior to the dinner. From 5pm, guests are welcomed to meet Shelley Simpson in-store - the perfect opportunity to connect, ask questions, and explore the collection.
