Event description
Experience the magic of low light photography on an inspiring dusk photo walk through one of the Sunshine Coast’s most scenic spots. As the sun dips and the city lights begin to glow, you’ll have the chance to shoot dramatic reflections and moody landscapes along Cornmeal Creek and Cotton Tree Park.
Get hands-on with the impressive Z5II and explore the full potential of Nikon’s Z Series lenses as the natural light fades. You’ll also have the opportunity to test out a range of other camera gear while capturing the evolving cityscape, from golden hour to twilight.

What you will learn:
Low light subject detection autofocus using mirrorless systems
High ISO performance for cleaner, sharper night shots
In-body image stabilisation (IBIS) for handheld low light photography
Mastering manual exposure for night scenes and light transitions
Pixel shift shooting techniques for maximum detail and clarity
What to bring:
Your DSLR or Mirrorless camera (all brands welcome!) Don't forget to charge your batteries and bring spares. There will be loan gear will be available to try
Comfortable Shoes & Weather-Smart Attire: We’ll be walking the city streets and chasing the light, so dress accordingly!
Tripod: not necessary but some may like to bring for night landscapes or astro work
