Reframing Volunteering : Marketing Volunteering for Younger Generations
Event description
What is the workshop all about?
An engaging training session led by Lush, for community groups to explore ways to reframe volunteering and provide you with a roadmap to rethinking volunteer marketing.Â
While typical advertising tells the story of who you are, what you do, and what you stand for, storydoing puts that into action. It’s the way to successfully reframe volunteering, reigniting the values-alignment and motivating forces behind volunteering. To the right audience, the right actions will mean everything – and will pave the way for community growth, new memberships, and meaningful change.
Why should someone attend the workshop? What benefit will they get from it?
By learning this philosophy and the ways your community group can implement it, you create opportunities to reframe volunteering. As cause-minded Millennials and Gen Z consumers continue to make up more of the market, storydoing will become one of your most reliable tools for driving positive sentiment and growing your volunteer membership.
Who is delivering this workshop?
This workshop will be jointly hosted by the City of Busselton and the Busselton Dunsborough Volunteer Centre and led by Lush to provide you with a roadmap to rethinking volunteer marketing, at no better time than National Volunteer Week.
Lush is a deep-thinking strategic communications agency helping organisations with creative storytelling. They recently worked with Volunteering WA to help reframe volunteering for future generations.
