1,500 refugees are accepted into New Zealand each year under the Refugee Quota Programme. Last year SCC hosted an event exploring the process of being accepted as a refugee into New Zealand and the resettlement process in Aotearoa once accepted.
This August we are doing a follow up event, learning about life in New Zealand post resettlement. Hear from our amazing panel of speakers (to be announced) as they share their lived experiences of daily life as a former refugee in Aotearoa.
