Event description

Join us to hear more about the Refugee Student Settlement Pathway to Australia.

The RSSP is a new program supporting refugees to migrate to Australia for higher education.

At this session you will hear from the RSSP co-leads Dr Sally Baker (Refugee Education Australia) and Steph Cousins (Skill Path).

The 2025 intake of the RSSP is now closed, however the co-leads are starting to plan for the 2026 intake. This information session will provide refugee students and support organisations with general information on the program and how to apply, when applications are next open.

Background about the RSSP

The RSSP is open to UNHCR registered refugees aged 18-30 living in Thailand, Malaysia and India. To be eligible students must have completed Secondary School (Year 11 and 12) or an equivalent program, and must not have completed a postgraduate degree (Master's or Doctorate). Students selected for the program are matched with an Australian university or tertiary institution and are able to move permanently to Australia.
