Event description

Join us for a special evening in honour of Refugee Week.  Arad Nik a refugee from Southern Iran will share his journey which eventually led to making Tasmania his home. Arad will introduce the heart-warming film Rosemary’s Way. The film celebrates the remarkable Rosemary Kariuki and the group of vulnerable migrant women of suburban Sydney whose lives she helps transform from isolation to connection. The film shows the women's gradual transformation, as they find their voices and confidence in Australia.  For $15 you can enjoy authentic Ethiopian cuisine by Queen Sheba Injera.
