Regaining Your Happiness Workshop S2
Event description
Hey 👋🏾 Thank you for your interest in attending this workshop, it means a lot to me. My name is Denzel, and I run these workshops to help people who want to work on themselves in a relaxed, less stressful way. My own inner critic has been very potent, so being able to work in a space where everyone can come as they are is what I strive for. I hope to see you on Thursday!
Overview
The Regaining Your Happiness workshop, hosted by Happier in Five author Denzel Byrne, will help you discover what barriers are holding you back from living a happier life. This simple and collaborative 50-minute workshop also allows you to further understand the five principles discussed in the Happier in Five book and teaches you how to put them into practice, but you don’t need to have read the book to attend. This is a small group session, so you can expect deep self-reflection while collaborating and sharing with like-minded people in a relaxed and supportive environment!
Who is this workshop for? Do I need to be unhappy?
You don't need to be unhappy to come to this workshop. The aim is to help you understand where you currently are in life and give you the tools to move forward with happiness at the core of your journey.
If you are a student, young adult, or someone going through a tough time, this workshop is especially valuable for you.
Feedback from previous workshops
"It was simple to follow and back to basics process. Taking care of your mental health shouldn’t feel like rocket science."
"It is very nice to be able to be vulnerable and open without being judged especially with a group of strangers."
"Great for helping you to think and open up to thinking about certain ideas. Good environment and space."
What to bring: please bring a water bottle and your best vibes! A worksheet and pen will be provided for you to work on.
Duration: this session starts at 7pm sharp and will go for 50 minutes. Doors will be locked at 6:55pm so please arrive before then. No refunds will be provided for late arrivals.
Venue: the workshop will be held at The Hub @ Docklands (80 Harbour Esplanade, Docklands, Victoria, 3008) in the Community Space. Denzel will greet you at the front door and show you to the room. Unfortunately, this room is only accessible via stairs and there is no lift.
Photography: there may be a photographer at the workshop to capture promotional content for the Happier in Five social media pages. There is always an option to be excluded from photos being posted.
Disclaimer: this workshop aims to create a safe space to share while also having a positive impact on you. However, there may be topics and realisations that are upsetting or confronting.
