Event description

You're invited to join us for

Forest Regen at Tomaree's One Mile, May 2025

The Friends of Tomaree National Park invite you to a terrific morning of bush care as we give a helping hand to regenerate bush and improve the resilience of the coastal forest on the headland at One Mile Beach along the Tomaree Coastal Walk.

Our morning community activity on Saturday 10 May involves bitou management as well as planting in some sites previously cleared of bitou.

Through the morning we will learn about native vegetation, especially those we are planting, and find out how to deal with invasive weeds such as bitou bush (Chrysanthemoides monilifera) and ground asparagus (Asparagus aethiopicus).

We will send you more information about the MORNING, where to meet, what to bring and more. Enjoy a simple morning tea after the activity.

The activity is from 8.30 to 11.00 am.

We look forward to meeting with you.

Please register each participant separately.
If this is your first activity with the Friends of Tomaree NP, you will be asked to supply your contact details and those of an emergency contact (first name only and mobile) who is not at this activity. Should you have any queries, please email Sue at tomaree.np.friends@npansw.org.au
