What does a regenerative street mean to you? Where locally and globally are you seeing these come to life? What experiences have you had in bringing about change in your community that have worked well? And when have things gotten in the way?

Regen Melbourne has recently launched the latest of our wildly ambitious projects, Regen Streets.

Regen Streets is about catalysing a wave of regenerative streets across Melbourne which sets an ambition for our city to build collaborative, action-oriented partnerships to create solutions for future living.

We know there are many activities happening across Greater Melbourne igniting the community ambitions for a living future in Melbourne and yet we also know that community led action, hyper-local initiatives are not connected or enabled at the scale that would make them thrive as a whole. Regen Streets, as a wildly ambitious project is exploring how, as a collective, we can influence and shape conditions so that a wave of regenerative streets can affect the policy environments while also bringing bees back into our neighbourhoods.

We want to understand your experiences that you have gained in doing this work, so that we can support the unlocking of “how” for other streets and bigger ambitions. Come along to this session to share your experience in your community to take climate action and allow what you know to contribute to a bigger scale roll out of similar efforts.

By coming together to share this will also be an excellent chance to connect and learn from other cool humans across Greater Melbourne.
