Regenerating our Community Organisations workshop

Surviving and thriving in times when fatigue, burn out and busy-ness threaten our organisations

The workshop will explore how we can regenerate our small community organisations on the Sunshine Coast to help make them sustainable and effective. In this interactive workshop we will: 

• Consider some of the issues we face in our current context;
• Explore some strategies of what's working, what's helpful and what's possible; and
• Seek to set up ways to support each other for our future 

We will draw on your experiences so please come to the workshop with your stories so that together we can share our frustrations as well as our successes. We won't be looking for a 'silver bullet' to this perennial issue as there isn't 'a one size fits all' approach anyway. We will be looking at what we can learn from each other to support our community orgs to grow and flourish into the future.

The focus of the workshop will be on small community organisations, more particularly those run by volunteers. So if your organisation is a larger worker-funded organisation this workshop isn't for you.
