Regenerative farming- theory and practice with Brian Wehlburg
Event description
Brian Wehlburg is back! We had great feedback about his introductory session in Dorrigo and Urunga, and in Feb 2023 he returns with a quick refresher on ecological functions, then moving into planning for complexity and grazing, and paddock feed budgets and plant recovery. We will visit a couple of properties to practice some simple but effective monitoring techniques for pasture. If you are totally unfamiliar with regenerative farming, we will provide some pre-workshop homework to bring you up to speed.
If possible, I'm keen to do an optional half-day gathering a little ahead of time, and perhaps again as follow-up. TBC
The program is still in development, more information to come. But it will be 8:30 for a 9am sharp start, til 4 on both days.
The event is free, with online donations welcome, and catered. Unfortunately we cannot provide child-care at our events at this stage.
There are limited places, and they will be popular, so if you end up not able to come PLEASE cancel your ticket straight away so people on the wait-list are notified.
