Join Landscape Architect and author, Nick Robinson, in this landscape and planting design workshop.

Hear about functional and beautiful urban gardens and greenspaces, where the designers are on a mission: to regenerate urban ecosystems to enhance our living environment.

This workshop will cover how groupings of plants can work together to boost biodiversity. We’ll look at examples of regenerative plantings in residential and public spaces that are designed to provide safe and supportive habitats for flora and fauna.

"Pressure for development in urban and rural areas is eroding their ability to support healthy ecosystems, and reducing space for plants and wildlife. We can make much better use of the gardens and greenspaces we still have, multiplying their ecological value many times.

This workshop will explore innovations in regenerative planting design. We will look at natural models for planting design and the work of some of New Zealand's most ecologically minded and adventurous planting designers".
