Regenerative Tourism for our Region by 2030

This interactive event is another opportunity to co-create the district’s first Destination Management Plan (DMP): a 10-year strategy for the visitor economy to drive net-positive social, environmental and economic outcomes. The event will include a keynote address on destination management in a global context, a panel discussion with members of Lake Wanaka Tourism, Destination Queenstown and QLDC, and a facilitated public World Café session to critique the emerging strategic goals. This is a Government-supported strategy, yet the DMP’s intention and outcomes are to be decided locally.  Take this opportunity to shape the future of the visitor economy in your place.
