Course details  

Shoden meaning beginner teachings, is the first course in the system of Reiki. Over the 2 days we focus on teaching you to heal yourself and others with this beautiful and traditional Japanese energy healing. This course is suitable for all adults, with no prior training needed, and children over the age of 14 (with parental consent). Whilst Reiki is known as the hands on healing technique, that is only one aspect of this powerful healing system, which centres around the self.

The course will run Friday 27th October 4:30pm -9:00pm, Saturday 10:00am - 5:00pm 

What you will learn:

- Reiki 1 meditations that we practise to cultivate and expand your energy

- How energy works

- Reiki , the word, the system

- History of the Usui ryoho Reiki system & Reiki systems

- 3 energy centres (haras) of the Japanese system

- Self hand healing positions and practise them

- Hand healing positions and practise giving full body’s treatments, and receive

- Reiki precepts and how to integrate into your life

- Role of attunements and receive 4 attunements over the 2 days

What you will receive:

- Reiki 1 Shoden Certificate of initiation

- Reiki 1 Shoden Manual to take home

-12 months Sacred Scribble membership, entitling you to discounts and hear about events before released to general public 

- Tea

- Light lunch (many local cafes nearby for something more substantial)

- Afternoon tea
