The Japanese word 'reiki' can be translated into 'universal spiritual energy.' It is the name of a popular healing modality founded by Mikao Usui in the early 20th century. Historically, many cultures around the world have similar spiritual healing traditions based on the innate human ability to heal oneself and others.

Reiki Level 1 helps you learn to tap into your inner dimension and the universal energy field to facilitate self-healing. In this particular Reiki 1 class, we focus on experiencing the human energy field - a spectrum that extends beyond our physical bodies. Through direct experience, you can more fully grasp the connection between your mind and body. Understanding this mind-body connection is relevant to mental health. By developing or deepening this awareness, you can better manage your energy for selfcare and in relationships.
