Immigrants bring more than just resilience—they bring traditions of justice, accountability, and healing. Join us for an evening of storytelling, community, and reflection as we explore how immigrant experiences and cultural traditions can shape a more just and restorative society.
Our vastly immigrant Muslim Ohana is celebrating Ramadan by fasting from all food and drink from dawn to dusk. The Iftar Dinner consists of breaking the fast at sunset, and gathering community to celebrate in a spirit of gratitude and reflection over nourishing food.
All community members, including children, are welcome to join this free event, limited to 225 guests. Festive and traditional attire is encouraged. Dinner will be halal-certified; gluten-free and vegan options available.
Doors open at 5:00pm. The Town Hall program will take place in the Main Temple at 5:30pm, followed by Maghrib (optional evening prayer for those in observance) at 6:45pm, and conclude with the Iftar Dinner & Q&A in the Social Hall at 7:00pm.
Please RSVP by Thursday, March 13. We hope to see you there, inshAllah.
