WHO ARE REJOICE?
Rejoice Gospel Choir is a community of singers taking part in the rich tradition of gospel choir music and bringing it to the community of Sydney’s Inner & South West. The founders, Tash & Luke are passionate about the message of gospel music which is about faith in uncertainty and hope in pain.
Rejoice has sold out the Factory Theatre, performed on live television and always manages to get the crowd dancing.
We acknowledge the history of gospel music, born out of the oppression of African American people and drawing on the rich history of African group singing. We are committed to learning from the people, communities and experiences that shaped gospel music and its message of resilient hope. We also acknowledge the Gadigal and Wangal people, whose land we meet and sing on, traditional Custodians of the land on which we will meet, and pay our respects to their Elders past and present.

This event is wheelchair accessible.
A cafe will be open on premises from 6pm. Preorder food and drink packages with your tickets, and enjoy it in the foyer while you wait. Alternatively, Leichhardt has an array of dinner options.
Parking is limited, so leave plenty of time to find a park or utilise public transport to get there. Albert Palais is just off Paramatta Rd, so there are plentiful public transport options.
