Event description
You will learn simple ways to talk about dating, healthy relationships, consent, breakups, and how to handle rejection. We will also share helpful tips to make these conversations easier.
This workshop provides practical information for parents/carers, teachers, support workers, and health professionals to support people with disability to navigate relationships.
Topics we cover:
· The different stages of relationships
· Healthy and unhealthy relationships
· Consent
· Supported decision making
· Dating
· Dealing with rejection and breakups
This workshop is for parents, carers, students, teachers and health professionals. There is a limit of 3 participants from the same organisation.
This is a full day workshop with coffee/tea and biscuits provided. Please bring your own water bottle and lunch. We have a fridge and microwave that you’re welcome to use.
Please note: if you are a HCC holder 50% of the ticket price ($60) will be refunded on proof of HCC. Please upload a photo of your Health Care Card so we can process your refund.
Our workshops are in person only. Due to a limited capacity within our education team, we are not able to offer online workshops at this time.
